(More customer reviews)Works well, and is holding up to my 3 year old at least for now. We watch dvds from both the US and Europe, so the region-free aspect of this device is great (no more watching the German ones on the computer only).
This hasn't been a problem for us, but you should be aware that it doesn't charge while it is playing (unlike most laptop computers).
The screen is fine, controls straightforward, and the remote works well also.
