(More customer reviews)The Samsung USB LAN works incredibly well with my Samsung Blu-ray player. Movie streaming from both Blockbuster and Netflix is basically flawless. The set-up was easy - and if I can do it, anybody can. The LAN is a bit pricey because it is proprietary - my understanding is that the Samsung Blu-ray players can only use this LAN and are not compatable with other wireless LANs.

(More customer reviews)I bought this adapter from CablesOnline because I read from many websites that this Intellinet Wireless-N USB Adapter - 523974 would work with the Samsung TVs and BD players and it would cost only half the price of the Samsung WIS09ABGN LinkStick Wireless LAN Adapter. Sure enough, right after I plugged it into the USB wireless port on the back of the Samsung BD-C5500, the player popped up a message telling me a Samsung wireless adapter was plugged in and it asked me if I wanted to set up the wireless connection. This adapter uses the Ralink RT2870 + RT2820 chipset so I believe other adapters with these 2 chipsets would work as well and when I googled RT2870+RT2820, I found this adapter to be the cheapest. I tested the adapter on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate with the latest driver downloaded from ralinktech dot com and it worked excellent, too (270Mbps all the time). I also love the super fast shipping and the excellent packaging from CablesOnline (thanks!). I highly recommend this adapter as an excellent and cost saving alternative to the costly Samsung wireless adapters. I hope my info will help others.

(More customer reviews)My wife and I were hesitant in ordering this but our daughter recommended it. It wasn't difficult to hook up and worked as expected. The major hurdle was figuring out what it allowed: linking the LED flat screen and Samsung Blu-Ray to our secured WiFi network. With our daughter, we had it going in just a few minutes and had far more options available that we would have thought.
There isn't much that we can add about this wireless unit except that it is fairly transparent to the system and opens up a much large media network.

(More customer reviews)I have spoke to Samsung level 2 support and wanted to let everyone here know that although Amazon brings this link for this device up when you search for model WIS08BG this device WILL not work with your series A 2008 model TV, not even if your TV was manufactured in 2009 and is a series A! This device (WIS09ABGN) will only work with Samsung Series B TV'S! Don't even try to order it or you will be dissatisfied! The drivers are not compatible with series A TV'S
