(More customer reviews)I tested this TV at an in-store display to determine if it suffers a similar ghosting problem I have with another Sony TV - KDL-26L5000. Sadly it does. I tested with a few pre-recorded scenes known to illustrate the problem on the KDL-26L5000.
The odd ghosting problem is not the typical motion blur noticeable on fast moving objects. This ghosting manifests as a streaking or shadow movement. Most often it seems to affect facial features such as lips and around the eyes which seem to float off people's faces as they move from side to side. The effect is dependent on the scene being viewed - lighting, motion etc - typically occurring in dark scenes or scenes with areas of highly contrasting light and dark areas.
Happily the KDL-32EX400 does not suffer from this problem. If you consider yourself a critical TV viewer, consider spending a little more to avoid this sort of annoying problem. For casual viewing this is probably not an issue.

I have seen the blur before, I just had never thought anything about it, except maybe a weak satellite signal, but now I know. I like this television; it has been a great compliment to my Hopper receiver since I bought it. The color is good, and last Saturday when the Broncos were on in Orange, I swear they were going to pop off the screen. I am a huge football fan so its nice to have a great television in my man cave that let’s the guys be guys. A coworker at Dish told me I should try the Picture in Picture on the Hopper when I am watching football games on Sunday and stream Redzone on the other half so that I will never miss a play. It will be a great season with my Hopper and new Sony television.
