(More customer reviews)I recently bought a new HP desktop computer with HDMI output and thought about connecting it to my 40 inch 1080i LG HDMI TV in addition to my monitor so that I could view pictures and programs that I recorded on the computer as well as DVD's. The only problem was that my PC sits on the other side of the room from the TV and HDMI cables are outrageously expensive even for short runs.
On some advice from a friend I looked online to see if I could find something reasonable and decided to give this cable a try. For $20 bucks I figured it was worth a shot. I was a little concerned about running the signal over 30 feet but I am extremely pleased with the results. The picture on my TV is just as good as my 20 inch widescreen monitor. I've tested the connection with pictures using Photoshop. I also viewed DVD's and video streamed over the Internet. The picture is outstanding and the sound is flawless. My TV is connected to my surround sound receiver so now I can even play music through my TV and to my receiver and the sound is excellent.
The cable itself is also quite pliable so there is no problem running it over doorways.
The vendor I purchased this cable from is different from the one I now see on the site so I can't say anything about this vendor, but as far as the product is concerned it is well worth the price. If there is anything I could complain about is that it would be nice if it came in white. Otherwise this was a great deal!
